Edition of Ben Watson's long-running weekly radio show Late Lunch With Out To Lunch devoted to Coffee at Milanos by Music With My Insane Friend, the duo of Simon Bereux (sax) and James Wilson (guitar), which was recorded on 29th December 2015 in Melbourne, Australia. The music prompts texts dealing with contingent verbiage and imagery, plus considerations of the "analytic" style of Free Improvisation pioneered by Derek Bailey (cf "analytic" Cubism). Comparative material is trundled on: Bailey on the Ian Smith CD Daybreak (Emanem, 2001) and Jean-Paul Bourrelly on the Muhal Richard Abrams LP Blues Forever (Black Saint, 1982). OTL's graphic poem is "Hence Flicker Tantamount", and there's also an appearance by H.E. Bates from his novel A Little of What You Fancy (Michael Joseph, 1970).
